Where does the time go?

Where does the time go?

( Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow
but you better live for today )
How quickly the years pass.

Today Sunday July 18, 2010 Joan and I went over to Sebring to help celebrate the birthday of my daughter Martha who will be 51 years old Wednesday July 21, 2010. Wow the years do pass quickly, can't believe she will be 51.

In the past couple of months we have lost two people that passed away much to young from the dreaded disease of cancer. Al Bibbler was 51 and Gaea Todd was 49. I was listening to the radio and heard the song by Garth Brooks called If Tomorrow Never Comes and it really got me to thinking.

I am going to borrow some of the words to that song to try to make a point.

Cause I've lost loved ones in my my life
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with that regret
That my true feelings for them were never revealed
So I have made a promise to myself
To let family and friends know how much they mean to me
 And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance to tell them how I feel.

If tomorrow never comes
Will your family and friends know how much you loved them
Do you try in every way to show them every day
Just how much they mean to you
And if my time on earth were through
And they must face the world without me
Is the love I showed them in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes.

So tell the people that you love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes.

Have you ever thought you should call a family member or a friend
then got so busy and didn't get around to it and then found out
shortly there after they had passed away.

So if we think we should call a family member
or a friend maybe we should go ahead and do it.
